RideCow Rider Rules
These rules apply to every RideCow passenger and help drivers provide a safe, respectful ride. Drivers may also select active rules that apply to their vehicle.
1. No smoking or vaping
Smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco or cannabis products are not permitted in a driver's vehicle.
2. Seat belts must be worn
Every passenger must use an available seat belt and follow applicable safety requirements throughout the ride.
3. No open food or drinks
Do not bring open food or beverages into the vehicle unless the driver gives permission. Secure, nonalcoholic drinks may be allowed at the driver's discretion.
4. Respectful conduct is required
Treat drivers, other passengers, vehicles, and property respectfully. Threats, harassment, discrimination, violence, and deliberately disruptive conduct are prohibited.
5. Passenger count cannot exceed available seat belts
The number of passengers must match the ride request and cannot exceed the vehicle's legal seating capacity or available seat belts.
6. Child safety seats are required when legally applicable
The rider is responsible for supplying and correctly using any child restraint required for the passenger. A driver may decline a ride that cannot be completed legally or safely.
7. Service animals are permitted as required by law
Legitimate service animals must be accommodated as required by applicable law. Riders should keep the animal under control and provide accurate trip information when assistance is needed.
Riders are responsible for ordinary cleanliness and for removing personal belongings. Safety concerns or rule violations may be reported to RideCow for review. These rules are informational vehicle and conduct policies; they do not automatically create a fee or penalty unless a charge is separately authorized under RideCow's terms and applicable law.
